Slovenian folk music is a souvenir from the ancient past, the echo of the space carrying inside it the variety of Slovenian regions. We invite you on a musical walk inspired by Alpine sharpness, Pannonian broadness and Mediterranean cheer.

Artistic director of the project is accordionist and composer Janez Dovč, also founder of music label Celinka.si, under which the project Sounds of Slovenia was created.

Members of the project Sounds of Slovenia have more than 10 years of experiences of promoting Slovenia, its culture and environment, at home as well as abroad. They collaborate with Slovenian Tourist Board, Government Communication Office, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, City of Ljubljana, many Slovene embassies, music and culture festivals, etc. and have performed on more than 100 events up to date.

Sounds of Slovenia also produced original music, based on Slovenian traditional songs, for a few noteworthy Slovene tourist campaigns.
